Project information

  • Category: Web
  • Completion: February 2023 - August 2023

This project involved the creation of a Vocational English Language Test (VELT) website, specifically designed for vocational students at UNDIP to conduct cheat-resistant computer-based exams. The primary objective was to ensure a secure and efficient examination process while providing an intuitive and user-friendly experience for students. My responsibilities included designing the user interface and user experience (UI/UX) of the website, implementing full-stack programming using the CodeIgniter 5 framework, and delivering a comprehensive presentation of the final results. The website enables students to register, log in, and manage their exam schedules. Through the platform, students can select their preferred examination dates, venues, and session times, facilitating seamless participation in their chosen exams according to their schedules. Additionally, the website provides access to students' exam results and certificates upon completion, enhancing transparency and accessibility. In the accompanying image, students are depicted undergoing a trial of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the Vocational English Language Test (VELT) at UNDIP. The trial demonstrates the seamless integration of audio recordings and student responses into the system, ensuring the authenticity and accuracy of exam results. Faculty and lab assistants monitor the exam process, ensuring compliance with testing protocols and maintaining the integrity of the examination environment. This project represents a significant advancement in modernizing examination procedures and enhancing educational assessment practices for vocational students.
